This DIACUT Cut-Off Wheel is used on cutoff machines, surface grinders, OD grinders, and machining centers. The Cutoff Wheel is available in diameters of 3″, 4″, 5″, 6″, 7″, 8″, 10″ and 12″ and in various thicknesses. A steel core, with a tapered diamond or CBN section which assures free cutting, is used on all DIACUT Cutoff Wheels.

The standard widths of the DIACUT CBN and diamond cutting discs are 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm, respectively. The grain size, concentration and bore diameter are set flexibly for each cut off wheel application case. The flexible production enables the fastest delivery times of the DIACUT cutting discs.

Fields of application of DIACUT diamond cutting discs

DIACUT diamond cutting discs type 1A1R are used to separate materials such as Thermosets, ferrite, glass, glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP, CFRP), graphite, tungsten carbide, ceramics, natural artificial stones, silicon, quartz and porcelain. They cut cleanly and residue-free and are used in many material processing facilities.

Applications of DIACUT CBN cutting discs

For chrome steels, case hardened steels, chilled cast iron, HSS, ball bearing steels, powder metallurgy tool steels (ASP), Stellite tool steels and soft steel grades in certain applications, the DIACUT boron nitride (CBN) Cut Off Wheels type 1A1R are used. The special properties of the material make it possible to economically cutting magnetic materials, HSS and hardened steels from 55 HRC.

Use of DIACUT abrasive cut-off wheels in automatic cut-off machines

The DIACUT 1A1R diamond cutting discs and CBN cutting discs are excellently suited for use in automatic cut-off machines (for example Ihle, AMB, Bühler, Bimax, Anton Wimmer) or other commercially available cut-off machines.

The use of a Diacut 1A1 Type flange is recommended for rigidity and longer wheel life. This flange is available from 3″ to 8″ in diameter, in increments of 1/2″. The standard hole size for the 1A1 Type flange is 1 1/4″. However, if a smaller hole is size is required, the Diacut Type 1A1 Hole Reduction Flange is available.
