Highly efficient diamond cut-off grinding in a package
The perfect customer-specific solution for efficient cutting in a package. Precision ground spacer disks enable individual distances between the cutting disks. In this example, which has just been delivered to a customer, there are 12 diamond cutting discs in use at the same time for the highly efficient and ultra-precise cutting of ceramics.
Execution in CBN for the processing of steel materials is also possible. DIACUT cutting discs can be manufactured with a width tolerance of + 0 / -0.005 mm on request.

Baltic Racing Team
SCHELL supports the "Baltic Racing Team" of the Fachhochschule Stralsund with innovative cutting tools for processing composite materials, carbon and cast iron.
As part of the Formula Student Germany, the world's largest competition for young engineers, more than 450 teams across the world compete in both technical and economic disciplines. The framework conditions of the competition enable students from all disciplines (computer science, electrical engineering, business engineering, mechanical engineering and business administration) to be combined in one project. It is only through the cooperation of all the members that it becomes possible to develop a winning concept, and to implement this within a very short time.
The "Acceleration", "Skid-Pad", "AutoCross" and "Endurance" (main race) are the main hazards.
